It’s a great honour and privilege to be
elected SCWIBA President 2022/2023, a role I will endeavour to fulfil
to the best of my ability.
I thank my Club, Arun, and the
County Officers for their encouragement and support in my journey to
taking on this role. In addition I wish to give special thanks to my two
predecessors and the County Officers for their leadership during the
recent difficult years.
Bowls is a wonderful sport for
all ages and abilities resulting in great friendships. I hope the
forthcoming season returns to a form of normality and encourage both
established and new bowlers to put their names down for County Fixtures.
For the last three seasons Sussex Ladies have reached the final of the
Atherley Trophy, a National Competition, and I wish them success in the
coming season.
I look forward to meeting many of you
during the winter season and wish you all success in Club, County and
National competitions.
